Make something
that remembers.
Try Project Desk: a tiny local app that remembers your project name, theme and next step after a restart.

Recorded with the working example and synthetic data. Save → stop the backend → restart → restore. Read the transcript.
Building an account-free browser app?
Embed the optional Connect component in your app for setup on first save, saved connections and recovery. It also supports expiring, revocable links with view-only or edit access. You choose whether your app exposes sharing, who it serves and how users receive access. No credential-paste form or Node.js installation is needed for visitors. Read the browser integration guide →Your first saved project.
Read the pilot terms and privacy notice before the app creates a store. New stores need a successful write within four hours; unused provisional stores expire. Then run:
git clone https://github.com/pauldodd123/vibecodestorage-example.git
cd vibecodestorage-example
npm install
npm start- Open
http://127.0.0.1:3210, give your project a name, and choose a theme. - Click Save my settings.
- Stop the terminal with
Ctrl+Cand runnpm startagain. - Reload the page. Your settings return, and the backend run ID changes.
Give your coding agent a clear start.
Open your project in your coding assistant, copy the prompt, and paste it in. It asks the agent to inspect your app, choose a private store per browser visitor or an authenticated backend for shared data, create one store and prove persistence across a restart.
A small, deliberate pilot.
Good for browser apps with a private store per visitor, trusted local tools and Node.js backends saving non-sensitive settings or task progress. Public multi-user apps need their own authentication and authorization. Never put shared storage credentials into browser code.
Each store has 1,000 rows, 2 MB of encrypted storage and 10,000 metered requests per month. The pilot is capped at 200 active stores. Keep your private credential file and your own data backups.
First save worked? Stay informed.
We strongly recommend subscribing to service notices about important pilot changes, interruptions or closure. This is optional and never blocks setup. Confirm your email to subscribe; you can unsubscribe at any time. Your email cannot restore a lost encryption key.
Help us get the first ten integrations right.
Did the first save work? Did it survive a restart? Where did you get stuck? Send a pilot check-in with your coding tool, rough setup time and what you built. Please leave out keys and private project data.
Send a pilot check-in →We’ll ask whether you’re still using it a week later. Participation is optional; no account is needed to use the service.
Does your app need customer accounts?
Use the Auth preview for passkey sign-in and per-customer records. Choose customer-private encryption or app-managed data with authorised support access. Check hosted availability before setup. Use Connect for account-free browser storage, or the Node SDK on a trusted backend.
